Due to climate change, wildfires are becoming increasingly frequent and more intense, causing greater destruction than ever before. Firefighters are the first line of defense in these disasters — their courage and efforts often determine how far a wildfire spreads. Yet, despite their heroism, there are times when the fires grow beyond control, leaving behind tragic losses.
In the recent wildfires in South Korea, three firefighters lost their lives. According to the U.S. National Fire Protection Association, 89 firefighters died in the line of duty in 2023, and 97 in 2022. During the devastating Australian bushfires of 2019–2020, two fire trucks were involved in fatal accidents, killing three firefighters, while an air tanker and two helicopters crashed during operations, claiming the lives of three crew members.
As wildfires grow more intense, the risks faced by firefighters increase significantly. To protect those who protect us, we must innovate. We need to develop advanced firefighting equipment and systems that allow us to combat both wildfires and domestic fires with greater efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
I founded this company with that vision — a future where our firefighting forces are better equipped, better protected, and better prepared and put off any fire – wildfire, domestic fire or industrial fire with ease and efficiency. I am fully committed to this mission.
